Terms of Service
These terms are an agreement between you and Sol Dream, Inc. (“anava,” “we,” “us”), the company behind anava. By using anava, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use anava.
Who can use anava
You need to be at least 16 years old to use anava. If you are between 16 and 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian permits your use. anava is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly allow them to create accounts.
anava is not therapy or crisis care
anava is a journaling tool with an AI guide. It is not therapy, not medical or mental-health treatment, not a medical device, and not a substitute for professional care. The guide is not a doctor, therapist, or licensed professional, and using anava does not create any professional relationship.

Your account
You sign in with a one-time email link or with Google. Keep your access to that email or Google account secure, since anyone with it can reach your notebook. You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us at hello@anava.space if you believe someone else has gained access.
Your writing is yours
You own everything you write in anava. We do not claim any ownership of it. You grant us only the permission we need to operate anava for you: to store your writing, show it back to you, let the guide respond to it, and build the private threads that connect the people and themes you return to.
We do not sell your writing, and we do not use it to train AI models. The one and only exception is the Contribute feature: if you deliberately choose to offer a specific line to anava, you grant us a license to review that line and, only if a person approves it, include it in anava's shared body of wisdom. That choice is always yours, one line at a time. Our Privacy Policy explains this in full.
The guide and AI output
The guide's words are generated by AI and drawn from a curated body of real human wisdom. They can still be wrong, incomplete, or not right for your situation. Nothing the guide says is professional, medical, legal, or financial advice. Use your own judgment, and consult a qualified professional for decisions that call for one. Your choices remain your own.
Using anava fairly
Please use anava lawfully and as intended. Do not break the law, infringe others' rights, harass anyone, or post content you have no right to. Do not try to reverse-engineer the service, scrape or extract its underlying corpus, get around rate or usage limits, or disrupt how it runs. Where anava offers any public surface, do not misuse it. We may suspend or limit access if anava is being abused.
Subscriptions, trials, and billing
anava offers a free notebook and a paid subscription. The notebook, and a limited number of free replies from the guide, are available without a card. Continued access to the guide is a subscription of $25 per month, handled by our payment processor, Stripe. We may offer promotional free trials from time to time, including through invitation codes; when a trial is started with a card on file, it converts to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless you cancel before it ends. We may change or end the free allowance and any trial or promotional offers at any time.
Unless you cancel, your subscription renews automatically each month and your payment method is charged the then-current fee. You authorize these recurring charges, and you agree to keep your billing information accurate and current. You can cancel anytime from the account panel under Manage subscription. When you cancel, you keep access through the end of the period you have already paid for, and you are not charged again.
At the start of a subscription you may optionally add a gift that we pass on to charity through GiveWell. Subscription fees are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise, though we may consider a refund on a case-by-case basis. We may change pricing, and if we do we will give you notice; continuing to use a paid subscription after a change means you accept the new price. You are responsible for any applicable taxes.
Changes to the service
anava is evolving. We may add, change, or remove features, and we may suspend or discontinue parts of the service. We will try to avoid disrupting your writing when we can.
Suspending or ending your account
You can stop using anava at any time and delete your account. We may suspend or end an account that breaches these terms or that we are required to act on for legal or safety reasons. When an account ends, we handle the data as described in the Privacy Policy.
Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, anava is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that anava will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that the guide's output will meet your needs.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sol Dream, Inc. and its people will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of anava. Our total liability for any claim relating to anava will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or one hundred US dollars. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sol Dream, Inc. from claims, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of your misuse of anava, your violation of these terms, or content you submit in violation of someone else's rights.
Disputes and binding arbitration
Please contact us first at hello@anava.space; most concerns can be resolved quickly. If we cannot resolve a dispute informally, you and Sol Dream, Inc. agree that it will be settled by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court. The Federal Arbitration Act governs this section.
You and we waive the right to a jury trial and agree that claims may be brought only in an individual capacity, not as part of any class or representative action. Either of us may still bring an individual claim in small-claims court if it qualifies.
You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing hello@anava.space within 30 days of first accepting these terms and stating that you opt out. Opting out will not affect any other part of these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, except that the Federal Arbitration Act governs the arbitration section above.
Notice for California users
Under California Civil Code Section 1789.3, California users are entitled to the following notice: the provider of this service is Sol Dream, Inc. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date above, and for material changes we will give notice by email or within anava. Continuing to use anava after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Privacy
Your use of anava is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
